MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING
a) October 5th ,2016 -Commissioner A. Sahni motioned to approved minutes. Commissioner
Huang seconds motion. Motion passes unanimously.
COMMUNICATIONS
a) Oral -This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the
commission on any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes
a person. In most cases, state law will prohibit the commission from making any
decisions with respect to a matter not listed on the agenda.

STAFF & COMMISSION REPORTS
NEW BUSINESS
a) Neighborhood Watch Project Presentation -local teen Eshika Nellore visited the Teen
Commission to discuss increasing crime rates in Cupertino and encourage the
commission to increase awareness of this impending issue.
OLD BUSINESS
a) Pizza and Politics 2016 Discussion and Final Details -last minute Pizza and Politics details
and changes were shared with the Teen Commission
b) 2016-2017 Work Plan -a tentative working plan was agreed upon by the Teen
Commission. Projects include a joint Cupertino Recreation and Teen Commission Hack-a-
Thon, a Winter Dance, and a Super Prom Competition for Safe Routes to School.
MISCELLANEOUS -NO ACTION REQUIRED
ADJOURNMENT
At 7:50 pm the Teen Commission adjourned to a REGULAR MEmNG which will be held on
Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at 6: 15 pm at the Quinlan Community Center, Cupertino Room,
10185 North Stelling Road, Cupertino.
