BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE

APPROVAL OF MINUTES - None.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Michael Ludwig voiced a complaint regarding the lack of bicycle loops at southbound Foothill
Boulevard, left turn to eastbound Stevens Creek Boulevard.

OLD BUSINESS

Union Pacific Railroad Trail - Community Meetings Report
Qualls gave a verbal summary of the June 7 Union Pacific RR Trail meeting and noted that the next
meeting was being held on June 21, 2001.

Pedestrian Transportation Plan
Qualls summarized the Plan report that noted that the Plan needs revision before City Council
submittal. Walton suggested that staff do a markup and then hold a work session with the
Committee. He also suggested looking at opportunities for "All Way" crossings. Staff will re-
engage the consultant on this project (Wilbur Smith Associates).
As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
