MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING
A) November 18, 2015 -Commissioner Vadodkar motions to approve minutes. Commissioner
Reiisieh seconds motion. Motion passes unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS
a) YES Environmental Conference Details -information was provided to Teen Commissioners
regarding the registration and details of upcoming YES Environmental Conference
OLD BUSINESS
b) Sounds of the City, discussion and update -Commissioner Vadodkar and Yang discussed their
visit to the Senior Center and potential planning. Commissioners were decided on finding
performers by next meeting
c) Teen Center Relocation Survey, staff update -Liaison Mestizo discussed the current results of the
survey and encouraged commissioners to get more responses from other Cupertino high schools
and middle schools. A link on the Teen page was requested from staff liaison by commission.
d) Teen of the Month, discussion and update -Commissioner Vadodkar created the teen nomination
survey and discussed questions. Feedback was provided and the final questionnaire will be
presented at next meeting.
e) Walk one Week, discussion and update -funding for prizes was discussed and Commissioner
Jerry Tallinger from the Public Safety Commission discussed the shift of activity to the Bicycle-
Pedestrian Commission. Commissioner Chan and Staff Liaison Mestizo agreed to attend the next
Bicycle-Pedestrian Commission meeting and discuss event with the commission.
f) IDEA Event, discussion and update -the Commission decided to focus on speakers who have
changed their career multiple times or have a unique pathway to current career. Commissioners
decided to bring nominations for speakers at next meeting.
STAFF & COMMISSION REPORTS
a) Commissioners Chan, Fung, and Vadodkar reviewed the mid-year presentation given to City
Council on Tuesday, December 1.
b) Commissioner Fung discussed the Safety Routes to School working meeting attended on
December 1.

At 7:35pm pm the Teen Commission adjourned to a REGULAR MEETING on Wednesday, December 9,
2015 at 6 pm at Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Road, Cupertino.
