Rl-10 {Resiclential Single-family, 10,000 sq. ft.

Michael Pisano, 10201 Hillcrest Road, informed the Commission that most or the area is actually underground.
Mr. La Pierre stated that his plans showing that. existing
power pole had been approved by the CUy. He was informed
of the faot that he was in an underground distr:l.ct by PG&E.

~airperson Blaine informed Hr. La Pierre that he can appeal this decision within five working days.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Commissic.n inquired about P. J. Mulligan's and was in formed
that it is a legal use. li:lwever, there have been some
difficulties with overcrowding. Tua Sheriff's Department
will from now on send copies of all citations issued to the Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Chair person Blaine requested the mnnber of complaints and
citations issued during the last six months.
The Commission was informed by the City Attorney that the
County can change their zoning ordinances as long as they are in conformance with the County's General Plan.
NEW BUSINESS
Text editing of•General Plan .Amendment 1-GPA.-80 -It was
moved by Com. Koeri:l.tzer • seconded by Com. Adams and passed unanimously to reword the text of Policy 6A(7) to read,
"In order to facilitate redevelopment in areas
characterized as sub-standard, the floor Area Ratio (FAR)

increased. The maximum increase in intensity shall not

The Commission disoussed a letter" reoeivfld from Mr. MoHillan cf Saratoga regarding the stop signs recently placed along South Stelling.
It was moved hy Com. Koenitzer, se.oonded by Com. SZ'Jl.>o and
passed unanimously to send a Minute Order to tl'le City
Counoil suggesting a form letter be sent to all ~ople ,who either" phone or hTite regarding these signs who do not live in the City of Saratoga. 'fhe letter :tJhould urge thesl!! people to contaot their own city councilmemborn in support
of Highway 85 and should also direct the commuters to use
De Anza and Stevens Creek Boulevard rather than Cupertino neighborhood streets.
Chairperson Blaine also reported on the Mayot 8 s lunoheon and re.quested copies of the Fait Poll tioal Praotices Commission rulir1gs regarding passes and other gifts •.
