McClellan Ranch Preserve: Mission Statement
“The mission of McClellan Ranch Preserve shall be to
maintain and protect the ecology of the area, conserve
the natural features and scenic values, expand
community awareness and understanding of natural
history and the environment, and provide enjoyment
of the resources present consistent with their
preservation”

Municipal Code 13.04.201:
Nature and/or Rural Preserve
A. Any park characterized by such unique natural features that it is deemed
a valuable and irreplaceable resource may be designated by the City Council
either by ordinance or resolution as a nature and/or rural preserve, in which
event it shall be used and treated in a manner consistent therewith.
B. Uses shall be limited to those which will maintain and protect the ecology
of the area, conserve the natural features and scenic values, expand
community awareness and understanding of natural history and the
environment, and provide enjoyment of the resources present consistent
with their preservation.
C. McClellan Ranch Park is designated a nature and rural preserve.

FACILITY AMENITIES

room with educational displays
and animal exhibits. Room can be
divided into two smaller sections
if desired.

sinks, kitchen island, oven,
microwave, stove-top, and
refrigerator.

reference materials and displays.

Capacity: 45 persons (Classroom Set-up) or 63 persons (Assembly Set-up)
Minimum booking of 2 hours is required
Reservations and Regulations
Reservations completed at the Quinlan Community Center
Facility is available to rent Monday – Sunday, from 9:00am – 10:00pm
Contingent upon facility availability
Cupertino Recreation and Community Services programs have priority
Rental purpose must be in accordance with mission statement and park regulations
Insurance policy required if alcohol is being served
Minimum 30-day notice required for any events planning to serve alcohol
Minimum 10-day notice for all other event inquiries
Facility attendant provided by the City for all rentals
