a map on the bulletin board. Commissioner Puetz felt that Alter
nate 112 is out , but 111 and 113 are possibilities. He suggested" '
Engineering consider the possibility of bridging over the horse ;
ranch. The :lanning Director said there will. be•'much 'more input`'
i 'before the Planning Commission will be asked to make the decision '
on Alternates 111, #2 and 113, but they should concentrate 'o'n-:the
aforementioned intersection with respect" to fhe application before
them. Commissioner Puetz was' concerned about tha property along', ' -
McClellan being developed, with McClellan being the only •access
road . The Assistant Planner said the County feels Alternate 113
would be more appropriate.
Commissioner Buthenuth felt that until Cupertino annexes' the':entire Annex first
area we don't have much to say about the realignment. Chairman
Meyers felt it would be wise to get their thoughts together before
the meeting with the County. Commissioner Hirshon asked how',,we
would acquire these properties. The Planning Director',said`'it Condemnation
would probably have to be through condemnation proceedings. ' '' proceedings
k'hen asked about the proposed street width for McClellan," the•' More study
Associate Engineer said the schematic was done rather* hurriedly and needed
more stud, would have to be done on the area-before' thi.s could be
answered.
Chairman Meyers questioned whether these alternate routes should be Public
discussed without public hearings. The Planning Director agreed • ''' ' Hearings

made. Commissioner liirshon asked if a traffic study had been made
on this. Director Sisk said this had been done, and he put another
map on the board showing the 3 alternatives. Commissioner Puetz
noted that Alternate 111 would pick up a portion of Deep Cliff Gulf
Course. • 110 suggeste: ;another alternative, that of going straight
across the top of the map , from Saratoga--Sunnyvale Road to Foothill
Blvd. Discussion followed.

property si:•: months ago and just recently he became aware of the wants action
