CALL TO ORDER:
The Regular Meeting of the Cupertino Housing Commission was called to order at 9:06 a.m.
by Chair Krista Wilson.

Commissioner Harvey Barnett and Commissioner Nicole Maroko

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Approve the regular Housing Commission January 9, 2014 minutes as submitted by staff.

7. NEW BUSINESS:
Fiscal Year 2014/15 Grant Applications - Grant applicants for the upcoming Fiscal Year
2014/15 regarding Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), General Fund Human
Service Grants (HSG) and Below Market -Rate (BMR) Affordable Housing Fund (AHF)
programs provided short presentations to the Housing Commission as part of the initial rating
and ranking process. Housing Commission requested a special Housing Commission meeting
scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2014 at 6 :00 p.m. to finish the initial rating and ranking of
fiscal year 2014/15 grant applications. The Housing Commission did not have any additional
comments on this item.

19935 Price Avenue Home — The Housing Commission received a presentation from both
staff and Charities Housing regarding the status of the 19935 Price Avenue property. The
property is currently operating at a deficit and Charities Housing is seeking additional financial
assistance from the City of Cupertino to continue to operate this property as an affordable
rental property to seniors. Housing Commission requested a special Housing Commission
meeting scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. to finalize a funding
recommendation regarding the Price Avenue property. The Housing Commission did not have
any additional comments on this item.
