Reso 6661 GPA-2011-01 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino,California 95014 RESOLUTION NO. 6661 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVE A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE MAP FROM QUASI-PUBLIC/INSTITUTIONAL TO INDUSTRIAL/RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 10340 BUBB ROAD,APN 357-20-019 SECTION I: PROTECT DESCRIPTION Application No.: GPA-2011-01 Applicant: Kevin Chiang (Home of Christ Church) Location: 10340 Bubb Road SECTION II: FINDINGS WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino has received an application for a General Plan Amendment to amend the General Plan Land Use Map to change the land use designation from Quasi-Public/Institutional to Industrial/Residential/Commercial for 10340 Bubb Road; and WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning Commission has held one or more public hearings on this matter; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the General Plan amendment is necessary to achieve more uniform planning of land uses in the Bubb Road Special Center; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that there will not be signi.ficant environmental impacts to revise the General Plan Land Use Map of the General Plan. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after careful consideration of maps,facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter, a Negative Declaration for environmental review purposes is recommended for approval, and application no. GPA-2011-01 is hereby recommended for approval by the Planning Commission, subject to the conditions which are enumerated in this Resolution; and That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application GPA-2011-01, as set forth in the Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of October 11,2011 are incorporated by reference herein.
