REPORT FROM CENTRAL FIRE: Chief Sporleder distributed fire statistics for the month of October. The chief commented on the recent rain and wind storm we experienced. Most of the calls for service were for down wires and trees. No major incidents were reported. Beginning in January of 1996, the Monta Vista Fire Station will house a fireman trained as a paramedic to respond to call on an engine. The Chief advised that this will increase the level of service to the community by cutting down the response time for already existing paramedic services. This service will be offered with no additional cost to the community. Public Safety Commission Minutes Regular Meeting of December 14, 1995 Page 2 VII. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None. VIII.
