7. After discussion, the commissioners agreed to wait for the new commission appointments in January to
decide who should chair the Teen Task Force. Commissioner Lohmiller suggested that due to the scope
and mission of the Teen Task Force, it may be advisable to have more than a single chair person
leading the effort. All commissioners agreed.
Chair Hopkins suggested any late afternoon except Tuesdays as possible meeting dates for the cultural
event committee. Director to coordinate with members of the Fine Arts Commission.
Commissioners planning to attend the 1998 CPRS conference in Long Beach will inform the director so
that reservations may be arranged.

13. Commissioner Stein reported on her participation in a brainstorming meeting with the Senior Center
staff regarding the future center expansion. Commissioner Lohmiller reported on the maintenance work
performed on the Memorial Park gazebo by the Rotary Club.
MISCELLANEOUS
14. There was no legislative update.
15. Director reported on the status of the Creekside Park project and the proposed pool house upgrades at
Blackberry Farm.
ADJOURNMENT
16. Commissioner Stein moved and Commissioner Jelinch seconded the motion to adjourn at 7:35 p.m. All
in favor. Motion passed.
