RESOLUTION NO. 6061
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
APPROVING THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF 26 TREES AT AN EXISTING
PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AT 10880 NORTHPOINT WAY
SECTION I: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino received an application for tree
removal and replacement, as described in Section II. of this Resolution; and

WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural
Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning Commission has held one or more public
hearings on this matter; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has met the burden of proof required to support said application; and
Ihas satisfied the following requirement:
1) That the tree or trees are irreversibly diseased, are in danger of falling, can cause potential
damage to existing or proposed essential structures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in
this matter, the referral is hereby recommended for approval, subject to the conditions which are
enumerated in this Resolution beginning on page 2 thereof; and
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this resolution are
based and contained in the public hearing record concerning Application 2-U-72 (M) set forth in
the Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of, November 13, 2000, and are incorporated
by reference as though fully set forth herein.

1. APPROVED EXHIBITS
Approval for tree removal and replacement is based on the arborist's report (Tree Health
Professionals) dated August 8, 2000, except that the recommended tree, and not the shrub
shall be planted in place of the removed tree number 23.

Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the following roll call
