Reso 4929 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 RESOLUTION NO. 4929 (Minute Order) OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO REQUESTING A REVIEW OF GENERAL PLAN POLICIES RELATED TO SECURITY GATES ` ------------------------- =-----=_____________________________---------- ------------------------- ---------- General Plan policy 2-33 discourages the use of private residential security gates because it isolates neighborhoods from one another. Additionally, General Plan policy 6-17 discourages security gates if they act as a barrier to emergency service personnel.
