RESOLUTION NO. 4828
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO ADOPTING
AN AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE GENER.AL PLAN TO DELETE THE
REQUIREMENT TO DEVELOP RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AT THE UPPER LIMIT
OF THE DWELLING UNIT DENSITY RANGE (POLICY 2-13, STRATEGY 2; POLICY 3-1)
SECTION I: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino received an application for a General Plan Amendment as
described on this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural
Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning Commission has held a meeting to consider
the granting of a General Plan Amendment hearing; and
WHEREAS, the General Plan land use and housing elements to be amended are as shown on
Exhibits A and B; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the potential environmental impacts of the
proj ect and found they were not significant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other recommended for
approval; and
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are
based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application 6-GPA-97 as set forth
in the Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of March 10, 1997, and are incorporated by
reference as though fully set forth herein.
