Reso 4809 1-GPA-97 2-GPA-97 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 RESOLUTION NO. 4809 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE AND IMPLEMENTATION ELEMENTS RELATED TO THE LONG-TERM GROWTH BOUNDARY (1-GPA-97); AN AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM MEDIUM-HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL 10-20 DWELLING UNITS PER GROSS ACRE TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL 1-5 DWELLING UNITS PER GROSS ACRE (2-GPA-97) SECTION I: FINDINGS � WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino received an application for a General Plan Amendments as described on this Resolution; and WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning Commission has held a meeting to consider the granting of a General Plan Amendment hearing; and WHEREAS, the General Plan land use and housing elements to be amended are as shown on E�ibit A and B; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the potential environmental impacts of the project and found they were not significant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other recommended for approval; and That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application No.(s): 1-GPA-97 and 2-GPA-97, as set forth in the Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of January 27, 1997, and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein. The intent of this ' policy is to limit future development to lands within the existing urban service area. The current urban service area shall not be expanded.
