OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING
ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE
AND IMPLEMENTATION ELEMENTS RELATED TO THE LONG-TERM
GROWTH BOUNDARY (1-GPA-97); AN AMENDMENT TO AMEND
THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM MEDIUM-HIGH DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL 10-20 DWELLING UNITS PER GROSS ACRE TO LOW DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL 1-5 DWELLING UNITS PER GROSS ACRE (2-GPA-97)
SECTION I: FINDINGS
� WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino received an application for a General Plan Amendments as
described on this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural
Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning Commission has held a meeting to consider
the granting of a General Plan Amendment hearing; and
WHEREAS, the General Plan land use and housing elements to be amended are as shown on
E�ibit A and B; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the potential environmental impacts of the
project and found they were not significant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other recommended for
approval; and
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are
based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application No.(s): 1-GPA-97 and
2-GPA-97, as set forth in the Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of January 27, 1997,
and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein.
