OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO A SIGN PERMIT EXCEPTION
FOR A CAR DEALERSHIP TO ALLOW TWO GROUND SIGNS FOR A
TWO-MONTH PERIOD
SECTION I: PROJECT DESCRIPTION

` SECTION II: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, The Director of Community Development received an application for a minor amendment
� to an Architecture and Site Approval9-ASA-96; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission approves a request to install the Chrysler Plymouth sign
immediately (following the fourteen day appeal period) without the simultaneous shift of the Geo sign
from Stevens Creek Boulevard to Stelling Road. The Geo sign shift may be delayed for a maximum
period of 60 days from the date of installation of the Chrysler Plymouth sign; and
� The applicant shall post a$2,000 Letter of Credit or other surety to provide a financial guarantee that
the Geo sign will be removed within the 60 day period. The wording of the Letter of Credit shall be
i approved by the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, e�ibits and other evidence submitted in this matter, the
application for minor amendment is hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this application is approved subject to the conditions stated in
Section II: FINDINGS.
