Reso 4713 2-GPA-96 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 RESOLUTION NO. 4713 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING THE ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1993 GENERAL PLAN TO REVISE THE HOUSING ALLOCATION TABLE ON PAGE 2-9 AND HOUSING ELEMENT APPENDIX C MAP TO ALLOW THE 500 HOUSING UNITS PLANNED FOR STEVENS CREEK BOULEVARD TO BE FLEXIBLY PLACED IN THE HEART OF THE CITY PLANNING AREA AS SHOWN IN EXHIBITS "A-2" AND "B-2" ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- SECTION I: FINDINGS WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino initiated an application for General Plan Amendment as described in Exhibits A-2 and B-2; and WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino; and the Planning Commission has held at least one hearing on the matter; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the potential environmental impacts of the project and found they were not significant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after careful consideration of maps, facts, e�ibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for General Plan Amendment, application no. 2-GPA-96, revising the text of the General Plan, is hereby recommended for approval as shown in E�chibits A-2 & B-2. That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application 2-GPA-96 as set forth in the Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of June 10, 1996 and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein.
