OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING
THE ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1993 GENERAL PLAN TO
CHANGE THE LAND USE MAP DESIGNATION FOR 12 ACRES OF LAND
BORDERED BY RICARDO ROAD AND MIRAMONTE ROAD (EXHIBIT A-1)
FROM "VERY LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, FOOTHILL MODIFIED SLOPE
DENSITY FORMULA" TO "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL 1-5 DWELLINGS
PER GROSS ACRE"
SECTION I: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino initiated an application for a General Plan Amendment as
described in Exhibit A-1; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural
Ordinance of the City of Cupertino; and the Planning Commission has held at least one hearing on
the matter; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the potential environmental impacts of the
project and found they were not significant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1 That after careful consideration of maps, facts, e�ibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in
this matter, the application for General Plan Amendment, application no. 1-GPA-96, revising the
map and text of the General Plan, is hereby recommended for approval as shown in Exhibit A-1.
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are
based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application 1-GPA-96 as set forth in
the Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of May 28, 1996, and are incorporated by
reference as though fully set forth herein.
