USE PERMIT MODIFICATION FOR A REVIEW OF A SOUNDWALL AND
LANDSCAPING ADJACENT TO I-280

SECTION II: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino received an application to construct a sound wall,
as described in this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the sound wall will be beneficial to the residents of the facility and will not cause any adverse
impacts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, eachibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter,
the proposed sound wall is hereby approved subject to the conditions which are enumerated in this Resolution;
and
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are based and
contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application 32-U-85 (Mod) as set forth in the Minutes of the
Planning Commission Meeting of August 8, 1994, and are incorporated by reference herein.

The approval is based on the site plan dated April 19, 1994, wall elevation detail, and landscape and irrigation
plans dated Apri128, 1994 (2 sheets), contained in application 32-U-85 (Mod).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of August, 1994 at a Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission of the
City of Cupertino by the following roll call vote:
