Reso 4512 2-GPA-94 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Tone Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 RESOLUTION NO. 4512 OF T'I� PLANNING COMMISSION OF TI-IE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN REQUEST FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO REMOVE THE COMMERCIAL LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR PARCEL 326-19-117 SECTION I: FINDINGS � WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino received an application for a General Plan Amendment as described on this Resolution; and ! WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning Commission has held a meeting to consider the granting of General Plan Amendment hearing; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the potential environmenta.l impacts of the project and found they were not significant; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the subject General Plan Amendment: ' To remove the commercial requirement from Parcel 326-19-117 support existing goals and policies of the General Plan in particular, the housing element. � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after careful consideration of maps, facts, e�chibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for General Plan Amendment is hereby recommended for approval; � That the special land use designation for Parcel 326-19-117 shall be removed and the General Plan map , designate the property as Residentia14.4-12 DU/Gr.Ac.; That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are based and conta.ined in the Public Hearing record concerning Application 2-GPA-94 as set forth in the Minutes of the � Planning Commission Meeting of March 14, 1994, and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein.
