WI�RE'AS, the Planning Coar¢nission fir�ds that the application meets the
follawing requireme.nts:

a) That the use or uses are in conformarioe with the Zoning and
� General Plan of the City of Cupertino.
b) That the parking is adequate for the existing aryd pro��osed uses.
c) That the noise cxeated by this type of activity will not
adversely effect the adjoining parcels.
d) 'I31at this type of a use is rieedled in a ccamrninity of varied
cultural makeup.

in this Resolution are based and oontained in the Public Hearing reoord
c�onc�erning Application 29-U-85 Ame.ryded as set forth in the Minutes of the

i be ame.r�ded by the Conditions contained in this Resolution.
2. OFF SI'RE�I' PA1�I�iG
The existing 75 spaces to be restriped before oocupation.
A minircnnn of 81 parking spaoes shall be provided in the North parking
� lat, while 7 additional spaces shall be provided in the Sauth parking
lat, arid 2 open and 2 enclosed spaves at the parsonage within 6 months
� of oocupation.
The North and Sauth parking lots shall be restriped prior to
ooc�ancy. The State of California parkirig space ntmiber, size and
signage rx��; rement shall be ooanq�leted prior to ocxx�ancy.
If in the future, a parking problem is identified by Staff, the use
permit shall be reviewed by Planning Caanamission and remedies pursued
including, but not limited to: Shortenirig of school haurs, an itxxease
in on-site parking or a total reduction of allc�aed students may oocur.

3. USE r,rMrmAmrONS
i The Use Permit allows a non profit, private education school to
conduct st�lementary classes for grades 1 throuc�i 12, oa�ying a
maximaun of 3,200 sq.ft. of area, within building 2. There shall be a
i maxitrnun of 50 students, 2 managers ar�d 10 teachers preserit at ariy one
time. The days and haurs are limited to Monday through Friday 3:30 PM
- 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM - 12:30PM.
4. BICYCLE PARI�TG
The applicant or church shall install one secured bicycle locking
device, if one does nat currently exist.
5. SIQ�fGE
Any signage shall be in oonformanoe with the City of CL�rtino Sign
Ordinance and approved by the Architectural and Site Appraval
Ccennnittee, prior to installation. The preferred signage location
w�uld be m�nwn�nt, attached to the existing mommie.nt sign for the
church.

5. TREE PRC7I'D�I'ION
The praperty owtler shall pravide an arborist evaluation, within 6 months of
ocxa�pancy, of the Red��ood tree. The purpose of the evaluation is to
1 det�ermine the existing health of the tree, ar�d prapo�e a p�o�tec.�ion plan
far its oontiriued health. The arborist shall be certified with the
International Society of Arboriculture. If the tree is to be rempv+ad, a
mini�arnun box size of 36" shall be replaoed, with a tree specie allaaed urxler
the Xeriscape C�.iidelines ar�d ap�raved by staff.
6. PRIOR USE PEE�IIT QONDITIONS

All oonditions of Resolution No. 2684, dated September 9, 1985 shall
continue to apply, specifically the S�mrnmary of Activities regarding the
days, haurs and types of activities allvwed at the rEmainirx� church
buildirigs.
