The Planning C,c�unission finds that delay of landscaping improvements in
the corner park parcel, as required in Condition 3 of 4-U-86 stated in the
City Clerk's letter of July 17, 1987, is in the public interest in that
the final design may be influnced by pending deliberations on amenchinent of
the General Plan to enhance coaturn�nity identity.

Said Condition 3 is hereby amerided as follows:
3. PARK INSTP�A'T'TON
The development agreem�ents shall obligate the developer to install all
of the corner park arrl adjacent roadway improvements within one year
eighteen months two and one half years of iriitial oocupancy of the
office buildings if construction has not begun on the hotel building.
The initial oocupancy of the building was oo��pleted on August 27,
1989. Therefore the two and one half year time period refere.rx�.ed above
will terminate on February 27, 1992.
