Reso 4475 2-EXC-93 CITY OF CUPERTINO 10300 Torre Avenue Cupertino, California 95014 RESOLUTION NO. 4475 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING AN EXCEPTION TO TI� SIGN ORDINANCE FOR TWO BUILDING SIGNS EXCEEDING TI-� SIGN HEIGHT LIMIT. SECTION I: PROJECT DESCRIPTION Ap�lication 2-EXC-93 - Cupertino Gateway Partners: Requesting approval for an exception to the sign height for a building mounted logo sign. The site is located at the Southwest quadrant of I-280 and De Anza Boulevard, Apple R & D campus. SECTION II: FINDINGS 1. T'hat the literal enforcement of the provisions of this ordinance will result in restrictions inconsistent with the spirit and intent of this ordinance; 2. That the granting of the exception will not result in a condition which is materially detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare; and 3. That the exception to be granted is one that will require the least modification of the prescribed regulations and the minimum variance that will accomplish the purpose. SECTION III: CONDITIONS ADMINISTERED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT. Anproved E�ibits The approval is based on Exhibits A, B, C, D, and E, of application 2-EXC-93, except as may be amended by the Conditions contained in this Resolution.
