WHERE'AS, the necessary p�zblic notic�e.s have beeti given in aocordance with
the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning
Conun.ission has held one or more Public Hearings on the proposal; and

H�-IERF',AS, the Planning Corrnnission finds that the proposed General Plan
A�nenchnent meets the follcxairig requirements:
a) That the amendment maintains the established goals and policies of
the General Plan; and
b) Zhat the amenchnents are consistent with the policies aryd objectives
of other General Plan elements; ar�d
c) That the increase in traffic activity associated with additional
� guest rocans will not erode the existirig Level of Service "D"
oondition of the Stevens Creek Blvd./De Anza Blvd. intersec.�tion.
d) The additional guest rooms will not significantly erode the existirig
level of surplus parkirig on the site, on a shared-parking basis, as
de��cribed in the Barton A�schman report of 03/28/90.
