application for a c.��ar�ge of zone, as desc�ribed on Page 2 of this
Resolution; and
W��tEA,S, the necess�.y public notices have been given in aocordaix�e with
the proc�.edural prdinance of the City of Cup�rtl.rio, and the Planning
Ccmmnission has held one or more Public Hearings on the subject
application; and
y��EAS, the Planning Conunission finds that the subject change of zone
meets the follawing requirements:
1) E�zcourages the most apprapriate use of lat�d
2) Conserves and stabilizes the value of prdperty•
3) Provides for adequate access to light and air.
4� permits adequate control of fires.
5) Protects public health, safety and welfare.
6) promotes the orderly developme.nt of the City.
7) Benefits the property ancl improve�ents in the zoning district and
neighborhood in which the property is located.
g) The subject recreational facility fulfills the intent of General
Plan Policy 5-31 which enoourages continued development of public
parklands in the vicinity of Memorial Park.
