OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING THE DENIAL OF an amendment to Application
6-U-71 (Hilton Inn) to increase the approved number of
guest rooms from 255 to 375 and increase the public
assembly space to include conference room and ballroom
facilities.

CONDITIONS AND FURTHER FINDINGS:
1. That the proposal as amended constitutes intense urban
development, which would be incompatible with the
established character of the community.
2. That the proposed 3-story building, labeled "lanai units"
would have a derogatory impact on the visual characteristics
• exhibited by the multi -story tower building.

of the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of
