OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
GRANTING A USE PERMIT for the construction of a
Gasoline Service Station

CONDITIONS AND FURTHER FINDINGS:
1-12. Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the
special conditions as enumerated herein. In the event that a conflict
does exist the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
13. The use permit is granted for the land as described in the application
and any attachments thereto, and as shown on the plot plan submitted
labeled Exhibit A.
14. The location of all buildings, fences, roadways, parking areas, land-
scaping, and other facilities or features shall be located substan-
tially as shown on the plot plan submitted labeled Exhibit A, except
or unless indicated otherwise herein.
15. The granting of the use permit shall in no way be construed as
approving the architectural design of the building, any signs that
may be indicated on Exhibit A, or the types and size of plant materials
to be installed in the landscape areas.
16. The exterior lighting of the facility shall be indirect in nature with
the majority of the lighting being designed as a part of the canopy
and main building structures. Any free-standing lighting shall be
low profile in nature with the design of the standards subject to the
approval of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee. The use
of conventional long-arm lighting standards shall be prohibited.
17. The parking spaces indicated on the plan submitted labeled Exhibit A
shall be marked and automobiles awaiting service shall be parked within
the designated spaces only.
18. Outdoor display merchandise, such as tire racks, stacks of tires,
vending machines, etc. shall not be permitted.
19. Outdoor servicing of automobiles, other than the dispensing of gasoline
and oil and replacement of minor parts such as water hoses, fan belts,
etc. is not permitted.
20. The granting of this use permit is conditional upon the continual
upkeep and maintenance of the landscaped areas.

21. Failure to comply with the conditions enumerated herein shall be deemed
to be a violation of the use permit, and the Planning Commission may,
as provided in Section 5 of Ordinance No. 002(a) revoke said permit.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of August, 1970 at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the
following roll call vote:
