RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMEND-
ING THE GRANTING OF A ZONE CHANGE
WHEREAS the attached application has been submitted t� the City of Cupertino
requesting a change of zone in the zoning regulations of the City:, as stated
on Page 2; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission has held at least one public hearing in re-
gard to the application on the date as n�ted on said application; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission has duly cansidered and heard al1 evidence
submitted in regard to said application; and
WHEREAS the necessary public notices have been,given as required by the
;?.�r;_n� Ordinance of the City of Cupertino;
'i�tOW, THEREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
�. �T'hat the Planning Commission finds that the p,r�posed zone change:
a, Encourages the most appropriate use of land,
b. Conserves and stabilizes the value of property,
n. Provides for adequate open spaces for light and air,
:�. Permits adequate control of fires,
�� . Promotes the health, safety and public welfa.re ,
f. Provides for the orderly development of the City
g. Is advantageous to the property and improvements in the zoning
district and neighborhood in which the property is locatedo
��. That said Pl�:nning Commission, therefore, rep�rts favorably to the
City Council in the matter of granting said zorie.change. Said
,�.pproval to be subject to the following conditions°
F'.xr,ibit "B", which is composed of Conditions 1-12 quoted below:
1, Install ornamental street lightso All lighting shall be designed
to in no way interfere with adjacent residential district.
2. Street trees will be planted in the p�blic right-of-way and shall
be of a type approved by the City in places designated by the City.
3. Traffic control signs will be placed. at locations to be specified
by the City.

5. A masonry wall will be built separating any commercial area from
any residential area; which wall shall be six feet high above the
highest adjoining finished grade.

plan.
7. Cur'ps, gutters, sidewalks, and structures shall be`ins�alled to
grades and be constructed in accordance'v�ith standards specified
by the City Engineer.
8. Drainage within and without the development shall be to the satis-
