OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
�,. RECOMMENDING THE ADOPTION OF A PRECISE STREET PLAN
LINE FOR THE REALIGNMENT OF McCLELLAN ROAD BEGINNING
FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH BYRNE AVENUE AND TERMINATING
AT THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA PAULA AVENUE, ALCALDE ROAD
AND FOOTHILL BOULEVARD, AS DESCRIBED BY "EXHIBIT A,
McCLELLAN ROAD PLAN LINE" DATED DECEMBER 27, 1971.
FINDINGS:
The Commission found the subject alignment to be the most appropriate for
the following reasons:
1. The alignment is the least disruptive to the natural environment
of the Stevens Creek area.
2. The alignment is the least costly in terms of land acquisition
and road construction.
3. The alignment provides a greater degree of pedestrian and
vehicular safety.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of December, 1971 at a regular meeting of
the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by
the following roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners Hirshon, O'Keefe, Meyers
NAYS: Commissioner Puetz
ABSENT: Commissioner Buthenuth
