Reso 0924 8-Z-71 RESOLUTION N0. :�24 OF THE PLANNING.COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO recommending certain conditions related to the development plan submitted as a part of Application No. 8 APPLICANT: Rcbert Saich and Ralph Saich ADDRESS: 10111 North Stelling Road, Cupertino, California SUBMITTED: April 30, 1971 LOCATION: Northwest corner of the intersection of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Stelling Road ZONE: R1-10 and Rl-l0ag AREA: 12.48 acres ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, the Commission at its regular meeting of July 12, 1971 reviewed the development plan submitted as a part of Application 8-Z-71, and WHEREAS, the Commission's review was based upon the premise of improve- ment to the design as submitted, and WH�:REAS, the applicant has chosen not to physically alter the ariginal plan as submitted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH� PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO that approval of the development plan by the City Council should be made subject to the following conditions, which will in fact require the acidition of elements causing an aesthetic upgrading of the proposal: 1. That a twenty five (25) foot landscaped perimeter strip shall be provided along the boundaries of the entire development. 2. That a minimum of five (5) percent of the parking area shall be devoted to landscaping; said landscaping shall not include the 25-foot perimeter landscaped strip or landscaped area within the pedestriar, walkways and malls. 3. That the sidewalks within the adjacent public street right-of- ways may be reduced to five (5) feet, with the remaining five (5) feet incorporated in the 25-foot landscaped perimeter strip. 4. Should the project be developed in phases, the first phase shall contain a minimum of fifty (50) percent of the 159,260 square feet indicated on the development plan. -1-
