which will not be solved for some time.
2. This area should be used for a purpose that gives Cupertino
a�ood imabe, because the area is visible to motorists
approaching the Ci�y �n the elevated lanes of adja.cent freevaays.

DENYING TI-� GRANTING OF A ZONE �HA?V'GE.
WHEREAS, the attached application has been submitted to the
City of Cupertino reauesting a change of zone in the zoning
regulations of the City, as stated on page two, and
WHERFAS, the Planning Commission has held at least one public
hearing in regard to the application on the date as noted on said
application; �nd
WHEREAS, the PJ_anning Commission has duly considered and
heard all evidence submitted in regard to said application; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public no�ic�s have beeri given as
required by the zoning ordinance of tr.e City o�' Cupertino.
NOW, THER�FOR�, B� IT RESOLVED:
1. That the Planning Commission finds that the proposed
zone change does n�t meet all of the folloUring requirements:
a. Encourage the most appropriat� use of land,
b. Conserve and sz�!bi.lize the value of property,
c. Provide for adecruate open spaces f�r light and air,
d. Permit adequate control of fires,
e. Promote the health, safety and public v��elfare,
f. Provide for the orderly developmEnt of the City,
g. Be advantageous to the property and improv�ments
in the zoning district and neighborhocd in which
the property is locatecl,
