OF THE PTANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMEivllING THE GRANTING OF A USE PERMIT for an
office and manufacturing facility (Multi-Access
Systems of California).

CONDITIONS AND FURTHER FINDINGS:
1-12. STANDARD CONDITIONS
13. That landscaping materials shall be utilized in relation to building
"a" to assure a visual barrier from the second-story level toward the
residential properties to the east. Said landscaping shall be sub,ject
to the approval of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee.
14. That a six (6) foot masonry wall shall not be required along the easter-
ly property line adjacent to the residentially-zoned area. However,
screening shall be provided by utilization of an earthen berm a minimum
o` four (4) feet in height.
15. Provisions shall be made for sound baffling and shielding of the air-
conditioning equipment as a part of the building plans, and shall be so
indicated on the plans prior to issuance of a building permit.
16. That translucent glass shall be installed in second-story windows facing
the residential area to the east.
17. That the driveway from Pruneridge Avenue shall be used for emergency
vehicular traffic only.
18. That the employee recreation area ad�acent to the easterly property line
shall be located elsewhere on the property so as not to be adjacent to
the residential area.

the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the
following roll call vote:

RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
GRANTING A USE PERMIT
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the C�ty of Cupertino
received an application for a USE PERMIT, as stated on Page
2 ; and
WHEREAS the applicant has met the burden of proof required
to support said application; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission finds that the application
meets the following requirements:
a. Encourages the most appropriate use of land,
b. Conserves and stabilizes the value of property,
c. Provides for adequate open space for light and air,
d. Permits adequate control of fires,
e. PromotQs the health, safety and public welfare,
f. Provides for the orderly development of the City,and
g. Is advantageous to the property and improvements in
the zoning district and neighborhood in which the
property is located;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits and
other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for
the USE PERMIT be, and the same is hereby granted, subject to
the conditions stated on Page 2; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED;
That the aforementioned findings be app�°oved and adopted, and
that the Secretary be, and is hereby directed to notify the
parties affected by this deci�ion.
