PSC letter to Faria School, Steve WooJanuary 2010,
Dear Principal,
PTA President & Traffic Coordinator
I am writing to you on behalf of the Cupertino Public Safety Commission. We, as a Commission, ar(
trying to identify issues concerning the safe arrival and departure of our children and parents who
walk/bike to school each day.
During the morning arrival, and afternoon hours when school ends, we have several points at each
school where children are crossing busy streets. We would like to identify points of concern where i
the past volunteers have been used as Crossing Guards, and therefore based on needs, are
researching standardized training and implementation of volunteers at each school.
