In March 2023, the Housing Commission made funding recommendations to the
City Council for the FY 2023-24 Housing and Human Services Grant Programs,
which includes the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) (Federal
funds), the Below Market Rate Affordable Housing Fund (BMR AHF) (Cityfunds),
and the General Fund Human Services Grant (HSG) (City funds).
In May 2023, HC approved the FY 2023-24 CDBG Annual Action Plan (AAP) for
submission to the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
In September 2023, HC approved a Substantial Amendment to the FY 2023-24
AAP to include a project to replace the Fire Alarm System at the City's Senior
Center.

• Housing & Human Services Grant Funding Allocations, which was
completed in Spring 2024.
Receive a presentation on the 2023-2031 Housing Element, which was
completed in April 2024.
• Fiscal year-end grant reporting to the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban

Program (CDBG) through the CAPER report (Consolidated Annual
Performance and Evaluation Report), which is due in September 2024.
• FY 2025-26 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and Request for
