THE CITY OF CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA, on the 27th day of November, 1995, at 6:45 PM
in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 10300 Tone Avenue is hereby given. The following
applications for action by the Planning Commission will be heard:
1. Application No.: 10-Z-95 and 29-EA-95
Applicant: City of Cupertino
Property Owner: Various
Location: Hillside areas north and east of Regnart Canyon generally bounded
by Upland Way, Lindy Lane, Linda Vista Park, Mira Monte Street and
Stevens Creek to the urban service area boundary line.
Rezoning/prezoning of 250+acres from R 1-10, R1-40, R1-60, R1-80, R1-100, A1-43,
Al-100, RHS, pre-RHS and pre-A to RHS-Residential Hillside Zoning District as shown in
Exhibit A.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Negative Declaration Recommended
The project will have no significant, adverse environmental impacts.
2. Application No.(s): 7-Z-95 and 18-EA-95
Applicant: Citation Homes
Property Owner: Citation Homes
Location: Southeast corner of DeAnza Blvd. and Homestead Road
. Zoning to rezone 18 acres from P (RES 20-35)to P (RES 10-20) as shown in
Exhibit B.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Negative Declaration Recommended
The project will have no significant, adverse environmental impacts.
3. Application No.(s): Planned Development and Tree Removal Ordinance Amendment
and 30-EA-95
Applicant: City of Cupertino
Property Owner: Various
Location: Citywide
Amendments to Chapter 19.48 regarding procedure for modification of a definitive
development plan in a Planned Development Zone, and Chapter 14.18 regarding tree
removal procedure.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Negative Declaration Recommended
The project will have no significant, adverse environmental impacts.

4. Application No.(s): RHS Zoning and Definitions Ordinance Amendment and 31-EA-95
Applicant: City of Cupertino
Property Owner: Various
Location: West Foothills
Amendments to Chapter 19.40, Residential Hillside (RHS) zones of the Cupertino
Municipal Code related to exception findings, house size, grading quantity and other
subjects to be determined by the Planning Commission. Amendment to Chapter 19.08
(Definitions) of the Cupertino Municipal Code related to definition of basement.
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Negative Declaration Recommended
The project will have no significant, adverse environmental impacts.

Cupertino Community Development Department, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California 95014.
If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission in court, you may be limited to raising
only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in
written correspondence delivered to the City of Cupertino at, or prior to, the public hearing.
Please note that Planning Commission policy is to allow an applicant and groups to speak for 10
minutes and individuals to speak for 3 minutes.
