Location: Fairgrove Neighborhood, generally bounded by Miller Avenue, Phil
Lane, Tantau Avenue and Bollinger Road
Rezoning from R1-6 to R1-6e for the purpose of architectural control of Eichler
homes
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Negative Declaration recommended. The
project will have no significant, adverse environmental impacts.

• LEGAL NOTICE OF CIRCULATION OF THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT FOR THE CUPERTINO VALLCO REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
The City of Cupertino Redevelopment Agency is proposing to adopt the Cupertino Vallco
Redevelopment Plan. The Redevelopment Plan would facilitate the renovation and expansion of
the existing Vallco Fashion Park regional shopping center, located at I-280 and Wolfe Road, in
Central Cupertino. The shopping center currently includes approximately 1,155,600 square feet
of gross leasable floor area. The redevelopment program would include renovation of the
existing shopping mall and the net addition of approximately 356,870 square feet of gross
leasable floor area and two new hotels (approximately 150 and 168 rooms).
Significant environmental effects anticipated are:
1. Land use and planning,
2. Visual factors,
3. Population, housing, and employment,
4. Transportation and parking,
5. Public services,
6. Air quality,
7. Noise,
8. Geology and soils,
9. Public health and safety, and
10. Cultural and historic resources.
• The City of Cupertino Redevelopment Agency will receive comments during a 45-day review
period beginning February 24, 2000 and ending April 8, 2000. Please check with the
