CALL TO ORDER
Tatachari opened the meeting at 9:02 a.m.

Parish moved and Cunningham seconded with corrections to Vice Chair nominations and inclusion of
meeting dates.

2. Subject: Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, Below
Market Rate (BMR) Affordable Housing Fund (AHF), and General Fund Human Services Grant (HSG)
funding allocations
Recommended Action: Consider the FY 2023-24 CDBG, BMR AHF, and General Fund HSG funding
applications and make recommendations to City Council for final approval
Assistant Housing Planner Vybiral provided presentation and took questions from Commission
regarding applications and funding and budget allocations, which applicants attending Webinar also
answered.
Applicant, Georgia Bacil, spoke in support of funding allocations for Senior Adults Legal Assistance
(SALA).
Applicant, Ann Peterson, spoke in support of funding allocations for Live Oak Adult Day Services.
Applicant, Benaifer Dastoor, spoke in support of funding allocations for West Valley Community
Services.
Applicant, Linda Dominguez, spoke in support of funding allocations for Catholic Charities.
Member of the public, Angan Das, spoke in support of funding allocations.
Parish moved and Cunningham seconded for item to next be heard at a future City Council meeting.
