Recommended Action Accept an update on current Parks and Recreation focused Capital Improvement Projects, and the staff proposal for Fiscal Year 2023‐2024 5‐year Capital Improvement Programs. Background and Discussion Capital Improvement Programs – Parks and Recreation focused projects, including Bike/Ped Trail projects. Active Projects: 1. All‐Inclusive Playground & Adult Assistive Bathroom Facility (Jollyman Park) 2. Annual Playground Replacement (Year 4 of 5) 3. Blackberry Farm Golf Renovation / Alternative Use Study 4. Blackberry Farm Pool Improvements 5. Citywide [Satellite] Community Garden: Wilson Park 6. Full‐sized Outdoor Basketball Court: Wilson Park 7. I‐280 Trail ‐ Central & East Segments 8. Lawrence‐Mitty Park and Trail Plan 9. Memorial Park ‐ Specific Plan Design 10. Sustainability Impact Sustainability impact is not known at this time for the proposed projects. Fiscal Impact The amount of funding required is currently being vetted by staff and will be presented to City Council at an upcoming meeting.
